Smith's Shaft poppet head taken in the 1980s, at Wheal Munta Mining display, Moonta, SA. My first model, built in the 1970s in my back yard then carted to Wheal Munta Museum site. It was built from the old wheat sheds at Moonta railway station. 1/3 full scale!

1900. It was the last operational shaft at Moonta.
